Rock Our World Video Conference

Last Saturday the year 6 students did a video conference with every country that is in Rock Our World . I was feeling very nervous and excited in the same time because I was going to be the third person who had to speak in front of the camera but once I got it done it felt great and my heart wasn't pumping very fast. I was glad it was over. After we had finished our bit of the conference we still were able to do a couple of conferences with other schools once every single thing had been done. Every extension kid had a sausage and a chocolate ice block. Here is a movie for all to see.

Rainbows end

Tommorow we are going to the amazing Rainbows end i am feeling so edgy but so exited becuase i have never been there before i 've heard lots about it wow it looks so exiting ahhhhhh im so happy.but before we do all of this i have to pack all my stuff and get ready.but though it may look exiting people say its boring so i dont know what to expect it looks amazing .tomorrow i will have some footage of the great performance.

Greatest camp ever

On Tuesday the 17Th of November year 6 pupils drove on a fairy to THE GREATEST CAMP EVER. First we landed on this huge wharf. Wow! i said to my self it was like Disney land in a camp.First of all we did a endless walk up through to a beach.Wait i nearly forgot the people who ran this whole thing was a man named Peter and women named Erin they had now been living there for about 3 years now.Anyway back to the beach we each got sorted out in our group lines BENTZON,MANSION, KAWAU and KATZ we all had a swim.Then went back on our eternity walk.So it was time for scrumchies food from Mr coop it tasted fantastic after that we played cricket for about 2 hours and then WAIT!! i shouldn't give it away you should come to Camp Bentzon on Kawau Island yourself.

in the weekend the eels played the gold coast titans.The first try came early in the first half from the beast Feleti Mateo and the score was 6 points to 2. the second try came from ben smith the eels must of had it there but it wasen't over yet it was half time. then 12 min later kevin Kingston bust to line an absoulite striker the eels wre on fire.and just as youthink the game is over Jonathon wright scores his madien try. the final score 26 2 GO PARAMMATTA!!!!

my freind kalim

Kalim is my best Friend.He is very famous for being on 5 minutes of fame.he has slept at my house 3 times and i have slept over his house once. he is amazing at singing (he thinks he is better than J William). I think he is okay. He is very kind when ever i have no lunch he is the only one who gives me lunch.he as a true Friend. 2 weeks ago i went over to his house we first played PlayStation 3 for about 3 hours.ooh and i forgot to mention moses was there.  So at 6 o'clock we all went outside to the park next door we played there for about 30 minutes. We were all playing force back.  So all of us went in side and played 3 am in the morning be cause we had to make a challenge.  So Kalim said lets not go to sleep but in the end i fell asleep and Moses fell asleep and he was the winner the next day walked wickedly through to my house but i had forgotten my clothes so in the end me and Moses had to go home early.  

the eels shcocking win

last Saturday the eels played the dragons. it was a tight first 20 minutes then eric grothe junior was away with a ripper of an interseption.The final score was 25 to12 eels win.Thats gives the eels a better chance of winning the nrl.GO PARAMMATTA!!!!!!But an outstanding player was none other than jared hayne.He scored one try and got through 5 defendrs and scored under the post.after the game jared hayne was givev NRL player of the year.

detective goldilocks (TFT) part 1

For this term we were working on fairy tales.So our teacher Miz Tito came up with a wacky idea.We should do (TFT. twisted fairy tales).Each group Had to make a movie which had had a little twist. here is our short TFT.created by me Tanielu and Omni.I hope you enjoyed that.If you were wondering if there is a part two well your right.beacause in week 10 the last week of term4 theirwil be part two.

My favourite rugby player

Daniel carter is my favourite rugby player.He is very good at taking conversions.Daniel carter is amazing at scoring trys.Here are some good detail about him. he was born on the 5 of March in 1982 in South bridge, near Christchurch) Daniel carter is a New Zealand rugby union footballer. In the 2009 northern hemisphere winter he played for USA Perpignan in the French Top 14 competition.He playes 2 types of rugby.provincial rugby and international rugby. he are some more details about one of the types of ruby that he playes starting with provincial rugby. Carter made his provincial debut for Canterbury in 2002, and in 2003 was selected to play for Super 12(now Super 14) franchise the Crusaders. Initially playing mainly at second five-eighth Carter reached the final of the competition with the Crusaders in 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006. Although they lost the 2003 and 2004 finals, by 2005 Carter had moved to first five-eighth. He regularly played with Andrew Mehrtens before Mehrtens left the team following their 2004 season. In 2005 and 2006 the Crusaders won the competition, and in the 2006 season Carter scored the most individual points for a player in one season with 221.

My blog wordle

Today at extension Mrs Burt told us how to use wordle.There are lots of words there. As you can see on my wordle I use earth the most on my blog. The cool thing about it is that you can change the font, color and language. It's pretty cool to me. All these words are about the words I use on my blog. The small tiny ones are the words I don't use the most. And the BIG words are the ones I use the most.

A sprint finish for the line

It was the big day for me. I was running the cross country.But before that we had to watch the lower ages first.So we had to wacth the 5 year olds all the way up to my year, 10 year olds.So it was finally my turn to race.They BANGED the blocks and the race was started.I started of with a short jog i was coming second then tevita put the extra pace and we were both coming second and feki was coming first.Me and tevita were still coming second but this time we had done 3 quarters and we only had a quarter left.So it was the moment i had been waiting for it was a tie it was a sprint finish for the line both sprinting but tevita won and came second.I still came third.So I'm still going to the inter zones hurray!

Stuart Duval comes to Pt England

During the middle block on Tuesday the  11TH of august.An amazing man named Stuart duval came to our school. He amazed us all when he could draw a man out of the numbers  1,2,3,4 and so on up to 1 million.Also he could he could draw a man out of the letters ABC to Z.He was also a story teller he did a unique piece of art with the colors blue,green,red,black,brown and yellow.And from that Piece of art  he created a story. The characters where Little red tuala a prince with green tights and a wicked witch of the west named witch t.So t lived in a black castle. So little red tuala was skipping when she saw the black castle.People warned her not to go but she wouldn't listen and because of that she was stuck in that castle for 7 years and in that 7 years her hear grew as tall as a sky tower.So one day a hansom prince came in green tights and saw little red tuala so he screamed "i will save you" my future Queen.So little red tuala puled her long hair out started climbing down. and little red tuala  went on the princes unicorn and they rode away and lived happily ever after. 

Our geat video conference with Hamish Campell

On Wednesday the 5TH of august we talked to a geologist named Hamish Campbell.The first thing we did was talk about were the earth quake hit.On July the 16Th at 9.15 pm an earthquake hit the south island in fiordland.It was 7.6 on the Richter scale that's the biggest earthquake in 80 years “WOW THAT'S HUGE”.

Did you know that 80 years ago an earth quake hit china in Tangshan it only lasted for 15 seconds but killed 242,000 people and 170,000 of them were injured. Earth quakes could go up to 20,000 km per hour that's probably the speed of light.

In new Zealand there are two types of plates the pacific plates and the Australia plates.When the plates crash into earth other that causes an earth quake. so when these plates crashed it went 30 degrees down.

East Tamaki v Spartans

On Saturday we played a rugby game against East Tamaki.

11.30 am was kick - off. Sam got the first run. He got HIT! Then he got down, set it up for Cu bin and cu bin got the first try and Feki converted.So it was the kick of again this time cub in ran it up when he was just about to get tackled and off loaded to me i ran my guts out and manged to score around the post with a superman so the score was 14 0. the third try came off an error and tamati sprinted up the Field and scored under the post.East tamaki scored three tries and all were missed so john step ed one fended another and a huge bump off the another.So final score 51 points to 15.Yaaaaaaa pizza on Thursday.
